Why Chiru prefer Tirupati?

Chiranjeevi, Praja Rajyam
Why is Chiru preferring only Tirupati?

It is more or less certain that megastar and Praja Rajyam party president Chiranjeevi is all set to contest the next Assembly elections from Tirupati.
But the moot question is why Chiranjeevi has chosen Tirupati to contest. As a matter of fact, Chiranjeevi can win the elections from anywhere in the State, because he has a charisma and there is no doubt even among the rival political parties.
However, different reasons are being attributed to his decision to choose only Tirupati. First, he is of the view that there is a huge fan following for him in the temple town, as was evident from the fact that all his films had been a mega hit here; irrespective of the fact that some films did not do well in other centres. Therefore, sentimentally, he feels that his party would also be a big hit in Tirupati.
Secondly, after the roaring success of his first-ever public meeting in Tirupati, Chiranjeevi has become sentimentally attached to this area and is confident that the people would vote for him in a big way. And thirdly and most importantly, Tirupati constituency has been a traditional bastion of Kapus and majority of the previous MLAs represented this community. It also has a sizeable number of BCs and SCs and that would also help him gain the popular support. Present incharge of Praja Rajyam Party in Tirupati N V Prasad, who unsuccessfully contested on Telugu Desam ticket, is also a Kapu and is working overtime for establishment of the party in the constituency.
Finally, Chiru's presence in Tirupati would strengthen the party's prospects in rest of Rayalaseema and also in neighbouring Nellore district, where he is getting tremendous response from people to his public meetings right now.
